I Hope

The answer is absent as to why we go on when we know what the future harbors. Is it hope? I hope it is not, for lost hope is a lost cause and for the sake of my sanity I do not wish to lose you. Yet, you were already gone the moment I found you. Maybe I never had you at all. The answer is absent to me, yet I would give anything to know. Why? Is it hope? For the sake of our hearts, I hope it is not. I hope it is love.
