The Cold Winds of Death

The Cold Winds of Death

A Poem by Chad

The cold winds of death embrace you. An eternity condemns you, as I condemn myself. A most dark and dismal sorrow has sunk into the very essence of me. I am naught but a puppet in the hands of God and you are naught but the strings between us. Taken with so much time ahead, so much time to reminisce on nothing but blissful memories. Forsaken for an eternity to swim in a sea of my own tears as the cold winds of death embrace me.
