LifetimeA Poem by ChadDoes anyone know the answer? Please don’t ask me how i’m still alive and breathing. For I, myself, could spend a lifetime searching for an answer and still I would die with hands as empty as my heart. I’m starting to lose faith. Lost in the thickening woods of despair. Spare my faith. Yet, do not ask me how i’m still alive and breathing. How I still tread the thickening woods of despair though faith is lost, and the line been crossed. For I, myself, could spend a lifetime searching for an answer and still I would die with hands as empty as my heart. © 2008 Chad |
