Missing

Missing

A Poem by Chad
"

Must I search forever?

"

I know you’re there, though our eyes have never met. Though our hands have never touched, I feel you in the air. Where are you? How much longer until we both tread the same simple path? Blinded by fate and ignorance contradicting, restricting my sight. Yet, I know you’re there, though our eyes have never met. These feelings that reside inside me more than make up for my loss of sight. I feel you in the air. I know you’re there, and so am I. May we be cured of our blindness. May our eyes finally meet, and come to see what we’ve been missing.
