Goodbye

Goodbye

A Poem by Chad
"

For the last time...

"

Must’ve took everything you had to say goodbye. If only tears formed a river and I could drown myself in sorrow. No doubt I would have drowned very long ago. Yet, a river does not run. Neither does sorrow, nor myself. Contradicting may be your beliefs. I beg your pardon, I did not run. I said goodbye and it took everything I had.
