Change Your Heart

Change Your Heart

A Poem by Hoshi Nami
"

started as a poem turned into a song

"

You saved me from the rain, and kissed me in it

Now you’ve shot me through the heart with a bullet

So this is the end, and no we can’t be friends.

But the truth is I’ll let both my arms break before I’ll ever let you go

The pain I can take, I’ve cried before

If you forget me, then there is nothing of us left

Just shoot me once more

So I can erase the dreams I had,

The beautiful dreams of me and you.

If you could change your heart, would it be for me?
When you say goodbye, is it as real as it seems to be?
Or are you lying once again,
just to play pretend?
Leave me waiting at the door
Reaching at your back
Standing in the rain
Thinking damn, this really is the end

You saved me from the rain, and kissed me in it

Now you’ve shot me through the heart with a bullet

So this is the end, and  no we can't be friends.

You saved me from the rain, and kissed me in it

Now you’ve shot me through the heart with a bullet

If only we could erase those memories after love lets us down. A quick an sharp poem that expresses a lot of pain.
