I try to distance myself from you.

I tried to keep myself away.

Like a thunderstorm

It's a never ending war,

And as the day drags on

Seem important?

To make sure that you're real.

We've had our ups and downs,

Damn that crazy rollarcoaster,

But we've been through too much

To let it all go now.

I want to tell you that I love you, baby.

But how am I supposed to?

How am I supposed to tell you everything?

There's so much left to learn,

About me,

About you.

We're so young,

It all seems like puppy love.

Were we meant to be together?

Or were we meant to be apart?

I'll run my fingers through your hair

And you'll wrap your arms around my waist.

We'll stare at each other before we kiss.

But that'll be it.

That'll be as long as that will last

And I want it to be longer.

I want you to kiss me in the rain

And be with me forever.
