Chapter twenty six

A Chapter by Kia-chan!

Almost there!

We sat there in awkword silence for a minute. Sophie was smiling for some reason, and that made me laugh. So there we were, two fools laughing for no reason what so ever. Sophie looked at me when we were finished laughing, and said, "Well, I'm glad you came, Alex. I really am". we sat there and talked about things for another half an hour, then I said goodbye to Sophie and left the hospital room.

I was just leaving the hospital, when I saw Blake sitting all alone on a bench just outside the doors. I went over to him, to say hello. He looked up at me, startled.

"Hi", I said.

"Hi".

"Are you here to see Sophie?"

"No"

"Then why are you here?"

"I'm here to see you"

"Me?"

"Yeah"

"But how did you know I'd be here?"

"I just knew"

"Instinct?"

"Yeah, instinct"

"So, why did you come to see me?"

He looked up at me and smiled."Because I like you, Alex. I thought I had made that obvious when I kissed you yesterday. But I might not have, I guess. I just wanted to come because I wanted to be close to you. Is that okay?" He asked. I coud feel my face turn hot, and I knew I was blushing.

"Yeah", I said, "Its more then okay. I'm so happy!". He grinned, then he stood up, and leaned in and kissed me again. Only this time, I returned the kiss. Then, we started walking in the direction of his house, holding hands. But it was'nt just a time for me to be happy that Blake and me were together. I was also happy that

I was finally able to move on from my "Gangster" days. I had become a better person. I had changed. And this time, it was for the better.
