Romatisism....Hmmmm....

     As Beatrice walked down the empty hallway, towards the empty classroom in wich the love of her life was standing in, she could hardly contain herself. It was the last day of her last year in highschool. Her crush, who's name was Stanly Birk, was still in the classroom, even though everyone else had already left, on they're ways to they're adult lives. As Beatrice entered the shabby classroom, she saw him standing there, staring out the window onto the campus grounds. "Hi, Stan. What are you doing here?" She asked, walking up to him. He jumped, surprised to see her there. "Oh, it's just you", he said. "Well, I was just....I mean...I dunno, I guess I was just kind of....saying goodbye to the school", he stammered. Beatrice knew how hard it was to say goodbye to something, when you knew you could never come back to it. It's sad to say goodbye. And it's very lonely. "Well", she began, "It's not for forever. You'll come back for graduation, right?" she asked.

"Yeah, I guess so".  They sat there for a little bit, staring out the window. 'Nows your chance, Beatrice!' she thought. She knew she had to tell him how she felt then, or she never would. "Um, Stan?" she said, "There's something I've got to tell you". Stan looked up, staring into her with those beautiful blue eyes of his. "Um....I just wanted to tell you....that I hope you have a good summer vacation. And, I hope that you'll take good care of yourself, too".

She knew that she had to tell him, one way or the other. She loved him. She really did. Even though all her friends told her that she was too young to be in love. She did'nt care what they said. She loved him too much.

"In that case", he began, "I hope you have a good summer too, Beatrice. And you take care too". With that, he got up to leave, but just then, she stopped him. "Wait! That is'nt what I wanted to tell you. The truth is, I....I", she said, "I love you, Stanly!"

She paused for a second, then said, "I really do. I...I always have. Ever since we met. I can't get you off my mind. Thats all". Beatrice blushed, and turned away from him. Just then, Stanley pulled her face closer to his, and leaned in and kissed her on the lips. "I love you too beatrice", he said, and he turned to leave once again. And once again, she stopped him. "Stan? I'll be praying for you. really...I will. Please be safe", she said. "You too", he said. And then, he left.  Beatrice stared out the window one last time, and then she too, left the school, carying all the memories from the past four years with her.
