Little girl

Hmmm...Ayounger version of myself...

 

Just a little girl, playing alone.

Daddy's in his office, mommy's at home.

Daddy used to tell her stories at night,

and everything he said, made her feel alright.

Mommy used to take her to play at the park,

they would stay out together untill it got dark.

but now things have changed, daddy does'nt care,

and mommy's always in the bathroom, fixing her hair.

Just a little girl, living all alone,

the poor things growing up, in a cold, cold, home.

She's waiting for the spring,

with the flowers it will surely bring.

But her parent will neglect her,

Untill all she can say is "Yes, Sir!".

"Yes, Sir, daddy! I'll always listen to you!,

But I only wish you and mommy would love me too".

So she'll say that, until she can't say nothing at all,

and the spring that she's waited for, will turn into fall.

Just a little girl, with a wasted life,

All because of her father, and his second wife.

 

Author's Note

The ending sorta does'nt make sense, but it was the only thing I could come up with. Still, I hope you like it :)

I think the ending is good it tells us why she has a wasted life. I also like how the spring is kinda symbolic of the little girl's innocence and how it came to an end with the fall and her father's remarrage.
