Let Me Go

Let Me Go

A Poem by Horrorphile

Bury me by the tress, carry me to the land of the truly free
Away from the hate, and far away from her cold dark heart
Sing to my body, about the times when I'd lay with anyone
From sweet, oh sweet, Lover, to that girl from the mall

Hold me close tonight, as if it was the last time
I don't mean to leave on these saddened terms
Please tell my mother, I am sorry
Don't forget my father, and what he meant to me

I have to go, I have to go
Carry me on angel's wings
I have to leave, I have to leave
Release me from your thoughts

I don't blame anyone, not even the girl I considered the one
It's the status quo, oh my woe
Let me go, let me go
Let me fly free among the crows
Oh please, please, please

Let me go.
