Our Glory

A poem about a medieval Knight giving a speech to his army before they get into battle.

In this medieval  times I stand for my brothers,

As we fight for this war for our kingdom.

Let us ride our horses with our shied, armor and fight for our freedom.

Lets us show our right to stand up for our self against them.

They can’t take our kingdom.

They will all be dead.

I will see them bleeding.

I will slice their heads off while their eyes turn red.

We are true Knights and we are here to the day we die.

Without us! All the women and children will cry in tears as they take our freedom.

Who is with me?

We have the power against our freedom to kill them all.

Take out your swords as we fight for our glory and honor.

We will win this battle against them.

This is so strange, just minutes before reading this I saw someone cut his own throat on tv. And even though it wasn't real, your poem put in perspective of the horrors of wartime. Especially during the medieval times, when bloodshed was rampant. Such a great write in all its aspects Ira, well done!

War had not changed yet. A flag stand for unity and strength still. Soldiers will leave their homes and fight till death for the glory and honor. A very strong story. It is funny in 5000 years. Old world is still the same. A excellent poem.
