I was stupid

A poem about being drunk and the next day you start having a hangover

I was stupid for going out drinking,

I wasn’t thinking right.

I wanted to have fun.

I throw up at my friends house.

Now with this hangover,

I feel like a dumbass.

I look in my wallet,

I realized my money gone missing,

I think they took my money, as I don’t remember.

I am crying with tears in my eyes,

My heart slowly dying.

I’m really sorry for everything,

I will never drink again.

Getting ripped off by your friends has to suck, but it was a nice write. If I ever got ripped off by any one of my friends, I wouldn't think much more of them as friends much anymore..

Interesting poem. Your grammar is really improving, which is great. It has a real meaning, which I like. I think you did a good job on this one. I would start ranting about "Oh, I can relate, I've done it before", but I haven't. I've never been drinking, so I'm trying to focus on just the poem. But I hope you feel better!

Oh.. almost everyone has done this once or twice! Unfortunately most have to learn the hard way before they learn.. so don't feel too badly.. it will make for funny stories when you get older (which are bittersweet!). Drinking socially can be fun but you need to plan a bit.. have a trusted friend system and a designated driver or taxi.. Just think you lost a few dollars but gained a valuable lesson. I agree with Eric Cox as well.. everything can be good in moderation!

It's good. I've been there, quite recently...bad night. I woke up with not only my wallet gone, but my cell phone, watch, necklace and iPod. Then I also noticed my fly was undone. There was a lot more, but I'll not go into that at this time... Lucky I was just drinking with friends.

Really good, we can all relate to it.
