Man Who Can't Dance

Man Who Can't Dance

A Poem by Thomas Snider
"

A poem kind of reflecting my poor dancing skills. Kind of an ode to all those people who dance but don't care if they are bad or not. Enjoy.. =3

"

Oooh!
Look at that  guy move!
As he shakes his tooshy to the grooves
His he’s got no specific show
He the exact partner he’s dancing with he does not know
This truly shows as he moves and grooves with the beat
A shiver running from head to feet
He cuts the rug so much
They decided to make them vinyl.

“Hey yo! Where’s your tempo?”
“Is it fast? Is it slow?”
“Hell if I know!”
So he moves with the beat and grooves
To the smooth music that flows through his ears.
Arms movin’
Feet movin’
Body adding with the groovin’
He is the epitome of bad
But does he look like he cares?
Does he look like he’s sad?
No,
He moves and moves like he means to move
Though he can’t move well
He moves anyway.
So as the other guys watch form the sidelines
The ladies all flock to the man on the floor
The man who “can’t dance”
The man with no moves.
