I, Me, And You

I, Me, And You

A Poem by Thomas Snider
"

Another one of those Self-Enemy poems I made. Enjoy.

"

You Son-of-a-b***h!
Between me and her, there is only you.
Yes, just you.
You and that thing called “air”.
I know who you are you dark clout!
You are always there to ruin my joy
Always there to destroy what good I have!
In my ear you creep at night,
You dash my good dreams with those horrible depictions
You kick the happy from my brilliant addictions.
Oh it is always you, you b*****d you.
Standing so wrong yet so true.
If you weren’t my mind, I’d cut you to size!
But sadly you are me and I am you,
That is why I hate you.
But that is why you hate me.
Leave me alone you depressing rival!
All I can do is yell at you!
I cannot strike you down for you are not what it seems.
I cannot just eliminate you for that would not be good either!
All the things I cannot do,
Because you are me, and I am you.
So now the mask is finally removed,
My only real threat to my own self,
Is Me, Myself, and You!
