Eyes Speak Where Words Do Not Suffice

Eyes Speak Where Words Do Not Suffice

A Poem by Thomas Snider
"

Another one of my old writes I'm putting up again because, I feel this is where they belong. To Nicole...

"

In a field of dreams we lay together,
Silent as it were into the eternity.
But with our eyes we speak to one another
Speaking in which words would not suffice.
Perfect we would say to each other
While speaking our imperfections and flaws.
But the raw love we hold for one another
Held between the fingers gone intertwined with each other
Making our loves bond that much stronger and everlasting.
Words will not do,
In which our eyes do display
As we smile our way into the ends of time
You and I
Perfectly imperfect
Harboring with one another our flaws
While holding one another in arms.
In a field of dreams we lay together,
Silent as it were into eternity.
