Eternal Forever And A Day

Eternal Forever And A Day

A Poem by Thomas Snider
"

One of my writes that disappeared with the clear not long ago. Just putting it back up for enjoyment. To Nicole...

"

My love,
I cannot stop the tick of time.
But if I could, I would for you.
Wishing upon one hundred falling angel like stars,
For your happiness to always remain true.
I hold you, my angel
In arms wrapped about,
Safety blanket holding warmly
Holding back the cold of night.
Ocean of stars above
Gentle grass mattress below
Heart beat whispers
Dancing between hands and fingers gone intertwined.
Catch my breath
Love has taken it away,
To your smile it is pulled so strongly
While my eyes admire yours
A stare not going astray.
I’ll hold you always
In arms, heart, and soul.
Leave tomorrow maybe,
But love you wherever and always
Eternal forever and a day.
