Enclosure is EndlessA Poem by Niall MaddenOne step forward and I enter the room, to you another slide in your personal PowerPoint. To me? I see nothing but Four constricting slabs lay there, Space filled with hate, disgust and judgemental stares. Paranoia. Is not a phrase to use lightly and while you place it, on situations that have no potential or reality. I am lay worried about each sincere remark that is aimed in my direction is in fact just a malicious tool of misconception. The point of which to shatter my emotional glass that holds up the framework of a boy who has too much baggage to carry. While you laugh saying I worry too much. Wrong. the whole point of a worry is that it stops, this is something more I see the snickers on the walls, I hear the hate behind blast doors. I feel, emotion getting heavy. You announce to streams of corridors that bore through inhabited shores. Relax, take a breath. Slow it down a little. How can I when beings around me have one aim to belittle me so I become a man ant. It worked. so hurry up and crush me with a subjective boot born from ideologies, that state a word is just a string of nothing but lines and matter. To you it is just some formatted language pattern. To me, every letter a pin, every word a dagger, every sentence is like a cannon loaded with soul-crushing spears, ignited with a flame to boil my hope away leaving a viscous pool of fear. she comes in. While I recess into a corner as ichorous People gaze from the devils depths. Eyes spewing thousands of words that can be captured under the brackets of hate. while a perpetual spiral of self-loathing begins to ascend, from a broken heart to a faultier brain. She grabs me. Embrace as warm as a light summer beam. If only mother nature had a kiss this sweet, Love dispels all demons that surround me. Saviour is term I will never use lightly. © 2015 Niall Madden |
