Revenge

Watching the clock

And waiting for a call

She paces the room

Feeling her heart break

He left her in the dust

Promising her forever

Then gave himself to another

Without thinking of her at all

Hearing what he did

She decided on revenge

So she asked his friend for help

And together they made a plan

And the night came

When he returned home

To find her in bed

With his closest friend

After a night of arguing

She told him she knew the truth

And he finally admitted to her

The truth of what he did

She told him to get out

And never come back

So he left her alone

And she felt free again

Excellent! My favourite verse is

It is descriptively powerful, the feeling of just being left behind is well described, I especially like the line "He left her in the dust", because it so accurately describes how you feel in that situation. Awesome x
