Mental War

It's one of those days...

Some people say I'm insane

But I know I'm fine

I just have a demon

Inside my mind

It sounds crazy

Trust me I know

But I'm telling the truth

When I say I'm alright

Sometimes I feel

Like no one cares

Then the voices come out

And decide to play

Nothing else matters then

Because they speak the truth

Death is inevitable

So why delay?

My head starts to pound

As I tell them they're wrong

By saying life is precious

And should not be wasted

Yet still they howl

Like a wolf in the night

Telling me to die

And causing a war inside
