I think that everyone who've already dealt with people and got disappointed can relate to this. The more we get our hearts broken, the more we see when we look at other people. At some point I believe we just start seeing then as they really are, beyond all the lies. Really nice poem, short and simple, yet very complex.

Reads like a universal truth. Short but on point, yet it maintains this certain thoughtfulness that I like about your writings. I think it's actually well-written for a first try on poetry, of course, there's always something to improve, especially when it comes to writing or creating things in general.
