fat cat

fat cat

A Poem by Hope Wilson

fat cat just sitting there,

do you see me stare?

do you even care?

Fat cat eats alone,

not fat,just big boned.

the lie is your own.

fat cat no matter what you think,

when you sit the seat sinks.

and off the distrust those around drink.

fat cat say this say that,

but truth be truth and fact.

dear cat, you remain forever fat.
