school time rush

school time rush

A Poem by Hope Wilson

wake up early and get dressed,

barely have time to eat breakfast.

hurry fast to brush your teeth,

then grab your bag and run down the street,

make it just in time to catch you bus,

why is school such a big fuss?

an hour later your in classes,

your teacher says your work barly passes.

lunch is a joke as you count the clicks:

Jocks, nerds, and preppy chicks,

populars, cools, and the nerds with their books,

loaners, average, and girls with "the look".

boring teachers place the blame,

princables office is feeling lame.

parents are called for stupid reasons,

cant beleive you commited such "high treasons".

back into classes where rumars will start,

then into the hall way where they break your heart.

off to the bus stop where home work will start.

then onto the bus as you and school part.

finish your homework a little late,

every things cold on your dinner plate.

shower, groom, and off to bed,

with thoughts of today running through your head.

dont know where thoughts end and dreams begin,

soon youll wake up to start this cycle again.
