Long-Distance Relationships

Long-Distance Relationships

A Poem by Sarah Flanigan
"

Yet another poem about my boyfriend...

"
Long-distance relationships suck.
All I want to do is
hold his hand,
ruffle his hair,
deeply inhale his scent,
hear his voice in person,
hold him close and never let him go.

I want to watch clouds,
And stargaze with him.
I want to explore art museums,
forgotten parks
and abandoned houses with him.

But that's pretty hard to do when you're 4,000 miles apart.

Courtship is a sweet fruit to relish entirely, yes...
Time for a plane ticket?

About
I'm an introverted bookworm. I tend to spend my days drinking far too much coffee and playing my ukulele too loudly. Life is strange and surreal, but also beautiful somehow. more..
