This is a poem.

Not because I, or you 

or anyone else said so.

This is a poem

Because it it my heart and soul 

in the form of ink on paper.

This is a poem

Because I am being

real, raw and painfully honest with you.

This a poem

Because i am trying to make you see

the ruined state you left me in.

This is a poem

Because for once,

I am not holding anything back.

This is a poem 

because it holds my

rage, sorrow, joy and grief.

This is a poem

Because

I need it to be.
