Foolishness

Foolishness

A Poem by Charlotte

There he was looking mighty fine
A man that could make me do a crime
All I ask is just a single sign
To know if I'm worth his time
If he could be here in any clime.
No poet could ever describe you
from the way you make me smile to make me feel blue
How easy it is for you to change my mood
Even though sometimes it seems to be crude
But I have no choice cause I'm a fool.
I accept you for who you are
Even though you got scarred
You're the only one who makes me wish on a star
Leaving my heart ajar
Hoping that someday you'll never be afar.

Have you tried writing sonnets? They are fun.
