Confused GirlA Poem by Hooligan WriterAs soon as I entered dominos, A girl was standing in front of line. She had a confused look on her face, A little excitement and a little whine. She coudn't decide what to eat, Petrified by the number of varieties. She asked me for help in choosing, I was confused now with my anxieties. Country special I asked her with hope? She smiled and nodded her head, Though she craved for some cheese, Through her eyes that can be read. She swayed to her table after all this, I coudn't help but notice her little dancing motion. She was so eager to have her pizza, Her face was like a mirror reflecting her every emotion. While waiting for my parcel, I noticed her zealous euphoric face. She ate like a godzilla, With still maintaining her grace. She had a wheaty brown skin, With a splash of joyful shine, Her hazel eyes concentrated on pizza, As if she said everyone it is mine. Suddenly she looked at me confused, Noticed me staring at her while she was eating, To make it easy I smiled instantly, She did the same while adjusting her seating. That day dominos took long to process my order, She had now completed her dinner and was ready to leave. Passing by my table she thanked me for helping, I smiled and then watched her going away folding her sleeve. To that confused girl, I just want to say,
In all this commotion I never got a chance to ask your name. But if you ever read this and ready to meet me, Then we can again order pizza someday and repeat the same. © 2017 Hooligan Writer |
