A Poem by Honourfish
"

Random thing xD just came up with it on the spot

"
One o'clock
Two o'clock
Three o'clock
Four
Find yourself washed up onto the shore
Just knocked out but you'll never be sore
Because with every moment opens another door
and in the future there will be many, many more
Five o'clock
six o'clock
Seven o'clock
Eight
with every passing moment weaves new fate
waiting, all you have to do is open the gate...

I feel a sort of dual meaning to this: the first could be that through opening doors we progress as people, the second being that this poem is about the journey of life to death, washing up on the shore being birth and opening the gate being symbolic of the gates of Heaven. For that reason I love it. Nothing better than a poem with multiple meanings.
Also have to mention the fun structure, playful and childish, maybe linking to our naivety of not realising how fast time goes by. Great poem!

meaningful... depends a very vast imagination and deep thinking. I like the way your words are organized, they slipped in a very beautiful gradual way. An optimistic ending based in an important prudence and wisdom.
beautifully written... adore it

You've used a very basic "tick-tock" chant to point up the important message that when one door closes another opens. Message of hope. Hope keeps one breathing!
