DarknessA Poem by Christopher BeyerA poem wrote about the darkside of a girls life.
Darkness is your home, it is a old trusted friend
Lonelyness keeps you company through thick and thin The days warp and spin reality seem to twist and bend Deep inside your dimmed out soul smiles a wicked grin Hate is all you know, Like a deeply planted seed left to grow The fake smiles, and empty laughs all apart of the rehearsed show The days seem to creep by all to slow, you being your own worst foe The sins of yesterday lay bare like blood stained snow. A faint glimmer, a shiny shimmer, that of a distant white glow A warming reminder of a happy life left to grow ever so dimmer Life will get better though, as it's up to you to leave the final blow On the old friend now turned foe © 2013 Christopher BeyerReviews
