Snow

Snow

A Poem by Honeypot
"

Alliteration

"

Softly

slowly

falling from

a silver sky

Sinking through

silent air

Forming soppy

silhouettes that

spread and

soak through

coat sleeves

Same as

he smoothly

seeped into

her soul

Kind, gentle and wonderful poetry shared dear Poet. We need someone to calm our heart and mind. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

the subtleness of the last verse was excellent. Excellently scripted piece- giving an aura of a desription of a snowy day but making a bang with the comparison at the end. very smart xx

Very subtle. The twist at the end was wonderful! It put a smile on my face at 8:40 in the morning. :)

I love this kind of poetry as gentle and sweeping as the evening sun that sets ever so softly merging with the blue sky as lovers dreamily look upon it...Same as

he smoothly

seeped into
her soul
that phrase took my breath away :)

I love the 's' alliteration! The 's' sound can take on so many moods and I love how it ends with this sultry and sexy undertone in the final stanza. Snow is a beautiful thing, but I'm glad summer is here, haha. Excellent write Honey!

honey and beautiful and i'm going to say''some might express beauty in its richness, only honey can seep into its tenderness and delicacy'',,,your love for snow,,,the silvery whites have made this surreal, ethereal, eternal,,,,

What a beautiful, tender glimpse of snow.. and so much more.. The aliteration moves profoundly into the sort of dance.. Loved this write!

An exellent metaphor. The image stays like an afterimage. Well done. The "s" sound was constant throughout.
