Trees don't judge you! Which is what I love about them most. Unbiased and unprejudiced.
So if you crash with your car you can't say that it jumped in your way. And when you're on a long stretch of road with a toilet 4 Kilometers ahead you can relieve yourself and the trees will not tell anyone! No awkwardness! :D
Only the pure feeling of oneness with your surroundings. And the goody green flavor of the air. If you lick fast enough you can taste it :D
Not really... but it would be cool if you could.
I am a creation believer so what I love most about this piece is that it portrays all the qualities and traits of its source. Qualities that we are all capable of but only few choose to exercise. It just feels right being around nature.
I have been reminded twice today about the breeze and was happy to see it mentioned in your poem as well. Humans think they are so important, but an Alien visiting from a planet a million light years away might think that trees were the dominate species on Earth.
The underlying emotion and imagery are what makes this poem to me. It's like saying something through the feelings one gets by just the simple act of observence. Good Poem.

I love trees more than I love people sometimes. And this is why. You just showed me the reason why. They are like angels: they are non-judgmental, ever forgiving, endlessly peaceful, and built on a solid foundation of eternal wisdom. Thank you so much for this poem!
a wonderful write
I loved it
since I was little I've always been fascinated by trees and
your beautiful poem captures all the aspects I love about them perfectly
Aw, this feels so pure to me. As is nature I think, and the nurturing effect it can have on us. So honest, sometimes a poem can leave you questioning the meaning of life, direction and in turn the hope you thought you'd lost, and this has done that for me. x
This is a beautiful piece that echoes like whispers on the wind. In Native American religions, trees are thought to be the first creatures to inhabit the earth and are treated with much reverance. Also interesting are Quaking Aspens which are thought to be the largest organisms on the planet. A whole colony grows from a single seedling. So it is that with nuturing and care, we grow and our roots spread while our quiet beauty brings peace to all who seek it.
I sit on my porch in the back yard and often look at the tree behind our fence as it moves with the wind, gently. I see the birds and other types of wildlife that enjoy this tree too. I loved the wording in your poem, as it brought me back, sitting on the porch and watching the tree live and let other life live too. Thank you for sharing this, you have a wonderful style of writing. KS
