You Deserve More

You Deserve More

A Poem by Honeypot
"

This is a poem for Nixie.

"

You need lazy Sunday mornings
Lounging in bed with somebody special
Bringing you a cup of tea with a smile
Only for you.

You warrant more than a passing glance
Or an occasional call when it’s convenient.
You need soft whispers and seductive giggles
Only for you.

You merit sun filled summer days
Complete with cool breezes
And lingering glances
Only for you.

You’ve earned passionate nights
Filled with eager kisses and
Urgent groping hands
Only for you.

You deserve so much more.

A wonderful Poem, moved me as well.

You must truly be a wonderful friend to say all of those nice things. Doesn't everyone deserve all the wonderful things life and love can bring? Sometimes we are really lucky and find what we deserve in life.

The peaceful safe arms of a lover in comfort and desire. The long slow summer days loving and watching the world go by without a care in the world......A heart filled with such love and the desire to give without expecting anything in return.

As Mary Chapin Carpenter once said "Shouldn't I have this shouldnt I have all of this?"

You continue to grow as a poet expressing your emotions and love so beautifuly and eloquently.

Peace etc

Ok, ok...I must say...I am really feeling this one. Only problem is...I wanted more...LOL.

It sounded so good to hear those words, that a little more would have been...well..nevermind, I loved it!

Aw, you're such a good friend! I know I've been down in the dumps but thank you listening to the whole charade and making me feel better. Not only is this sweet but it shows off how great a poet you are too! :) Love you! xxx
