This poem is inspired by the great rapper/poet Tupac shakur. capturing every revenue with his talent. I loved this man for all he brung to the world
If there was a father present in the absence of many .....He'd teach like you.. If there was a man who spoke like you........... He'd speak the truth If there was a man who walked like you...He couldn't wear your shoes
Callin' the struggle.."Straight THUG life"...and still manage to maintain your sensitive side. To love and respect WOMEN you knew how to abide.
If your heartbeat could be translated into words...It would have spoken PURE REAL. Couldn't measure a man's ability and wisdom on a scale...
In yet a man's greatest love should always be in GOD I learn from your trials and tribulations you could learn alot. a man so simple yet so extraordinary we know him as PAC.
Tupac will forever be my favorite poet! he had so much to say! and so much people willing to listen...a prophet in the hip hop culture! ENOJOY AND PLEASE CRITQUE! I wrote this poem a while back...one of my favs..

I agree with Courtney's review, Tupac, will always be one of the greats of our generation...G.O.A.T...Greatest Of All Time...although, I was a fan of Notorious Big, but he was one of the best lyricist...Tupac, was the best Rapper with his emotions, ever...I will always play his music...No rapper of today, can compare to Tupac. Nuff said. Excellent write.

I'll be honest- I always preferred Biggie. It's not that I don't like Tupac; I just haven't listened to enough of his music. But from what little I have heard (and from what I've read about him), he strikes me as having been not only a talented rapper, but also an exceptionally intelligent person. Judging by this poem, you clearly feel the same way. I think this is a heart-felt tribute to one of rap's greatest legends. And that's coming from a suburban white kid.
