A Drink from Life's WellA Poem by HomasonSweet BitternessAll along I've been surviving with all my all, Struggling with all my wrongs thinking they were right on and on, If only they were reasonable, But who could think Titanic was sinkable, With all my efforts in building the best I could for them, Yet dreadful iceberg came creeping in between them, Ranting in despair little peace was wanting, Should I be jack, should I hold on, or should I give up? selfish spirit came calling, But give up never answered, Life goes beyond the surface of surviving, When the heart fails, and thoughts fade, living starts, We all wanna be somebody, We all need somebody, But we are just that somebody, And if we fall, Let's remember that even the rains fall, That moment when the clock could no longer tell time, Let's stop surviving and start living. © 2016 HomasonAuthor's Note
