They Don't Come in Peace

They Don't Come in Peace

A Poem by Julia Hollywood
"

I had to clean out my computer, and I found this. Let me know what you think.

"

There are aliens on Earth.
Currently, all around us.
They have our children, the children of Earth,
Held hostage.
And you help them.
You create laws to help the aliens.
To help the creatures who don’t belong here, on this planet.
Who clearly didn’t exist on this planet until now.
They slowly corrupt and destroy as they control like dictators, expecting to go unquestioned.
Their power is inevitable by nature.
You make their power almighty.
Science-fiction was wrong.
They don’t come in peace.

I suck at poetry, it's not my thing. Don't be surprised by the fact that this sucks.
