My Sea

My Sea

A Poem by Holly M. May

Eyes of the vast sea,

That is what he has.

All the distance, all the wonder.

What lies within the depths,

Depths that posses no end;

If I were to dive deeper,

Would I never return,

Or will the sea spit out

And leave me wanting more?

For now I shall enjoy your relaxing waves,

Accept your embrace.

Rock me gentle, my sea,

Rock me gentle.
