THE PALE MOONA Poem by HollyAnother poem/short story type work.A DARK FIGURE STANDS ON THE HILLTOP ROBE BILLOWING IN THE HIGHLAND BREEZE THE MOON LETS OFF A BIT OF PALE LIGHT MAN OR WOMAN NO ONE KNOWS THE HOOD OF THEIR CLOAK HIDES THEIR FACE SUDDENLY THE BREEZE COMES TO A STOP A GREAT GUST IS UMMONED WITH EASE THE HIDDEN DRAGON TAKES OFF IN FLIGHT THE PALE MOON CONTINUOUSLY GLOWS A ROBED FIGURE THAT STANDS WITH GRACE THE HIDDEN DRAGON COMES TO A STOP ABOVE THE ROBED FIGURE IN THE BILLOWING BREEZE BOTH SEEMINGLY TAKE OFF INTO THE NIGHT WHERE SHE STOOD, THERE STANDS A ROSE AND THEY START THEIR NIGHTLY RACE FROM THE HILLTOP IN THE GUSTING HIGHLAND BREEZE YOU CAN SEE THEM IN THE PALE MOON'S LIGHT AND THE ROSE, TO THIS DAY, STILL GROWS WITH THE GRACEFUL BEAUTY OF THE ANGEL'S FACE -Holly Lynn Blackwell -April 7, 2001
