BLOSSOM OF THE MOON

BLOSSOM OF THE MOON

A Poem by Holly
"

Fantasy poem I wrote what seems like ages ago...

"
IN THE HIDDEN MEADOW OF THE SACRED FOREST
THERE GROWS A BLOSSOM UNDER THE MOON
IT HAS BUT ONE THORN
TO SHELTER IT AND PROTECT
FROM THE HOT FIERY SUN AT NOON

THE BLOSSOM CONTINUES TO BLOOM
WITH THE SHELTER OF THE THORN AND MOON
WEAK THOUGH IT MAY SEEM
IT IS ONLY WITHIN A DREAM

THE FLOWERY MEADOW SCENE
AWAKENS WITHIN THE MOON'S BEAM
HOW THIS AGELESS BEAUTY LASTS
CAN BE HEARD OF IN SONGS OF PAST
OF THE BLOSSOM OF THE MOON....

Author's Note

Holly
Remember, this is an older piece of work and an actual poem, while most of my writing tends to be dark in some fashion, sometimes; like this piece here, it can be fictional and based on fantasy. I have a serious love of Dragons though :)
