Granny

Granny

A Poem by Holly Ann
"

My grandmother died when I was 12. May will be 4 years. I wrote this poem for her.

"

GRANNY

I think about you day by day,

and how we were so close.

But now that you have gone away,

here are the things i miss the most.

I miss the way you smiled,

I miss the way you talked,

I miss the way you laughed,

and i wish the way you walked.

You were my second mom,

and always will be too.

You were also my best friend

the only one that stayed true.

Everytime i miss you,

a tear rolls down my face.

But then a piece of hope,

is put in its place.

Hope is very familar,

hope can make me see,

that as long as i miss you,

i will be missing a part of me.

We need to remember the special people in our life. I like the memories you wrote about. She would be proud you remember her. Thank you for the excellent poem.
