The Cyngaboo

The Cyngaboo

A Poem by Holly
"

THe Cyngaboo

"

I see you giant Cyngaboo
I know you escaped from the zoo
I see you staring through the trees
I know you want me for your tea.

What did I ever do to you
You big green furry Cyngaboo
Your hungry smiles make me blue
I’m far too delicate to chew.

The Dinmalling, the Jinntoby
Would never have me for their tea
So tell me Big green Cyngaboo
What did I ever do to you?

With your long tail and purple claws
Your giant, drooling monster jaws
With teeth so big and eyes so bright

You really are a frightening sight
The Cyngaboo has gone away
That really was a scary day
But now I’m cuddled up in bed
He ate my sister Jill, instead.
