The poor little girl with two left feet

The poor little girl with two left feet

A Poem by Holly

The poor little girl with two left feet
People laughed as she walked down the street
Two left feet and eyes made of coal
She slipped fell and stumbled down every hole

Sad scared and bitter she walked all alone
No mum or dad, no dog- no home
One day as she fell down the street
She met a boy with two right feet!

They stood and talked all night and all day
and said together forever they'd stay
Things went wrong when they tr ied to walk on
when one tur ned around the other was gone!
They tr ied and struggled for several days
But could only walk in opposite ways.

I love your writing. Seriously, love it. This is so tragic, yet cute, and the tone is so light it's almost deceives the reader.
