HomicideA Poem by Holly O'Brien
Would it be homicide… If I died because of you? For every morning to wake up Without you here I go through day wondering If you truly cared Because I loved you like none other I became fearless for you And now you say I am selfish When I did all that I could do
I think it would be homicide… If I died because of you. You’ve taken my joy By shutting me away And now I have nothing So in death I’d rather lay It was quite the scandal It was my murder scene To have lived in love before Losing the woman of my dreams
