Conflict of the MindA Poem by Holly O'Brien
Sometimes we are so sure
But only know little And what of the God we question? How can we blame a twisted nature? Living in daydreams Like fairy tales of the mind Light whispers Conscious story telling What has been felt is only rain against the skin And the cold dampness Makes it anticipate sunshine Baby Jesus please write it over So that man can see a way See a way through struggling thoughts... © 2010 Holly O'BrienFeatured Review
