Wonderful WondersA Poem by Holly O'Brien
I looked into her eyes today
and I felt a tinge of sweetness wrapping around my tongue so tight I couldn't speak of all the words inside of me Rest that beautiful smile Remember that cautious glimpse Takes my mind for a stroll Through the back-doors of my heart And a breath escapes me when I awake A lust so haunting It carries my soul and brings it back A feeling so young It can only be new Maybe it's my heart knocking Head leaned back eyes closed against the sunset I can only wish for a chance for a moment that seems impossible But it's a chance that seems inevitable © 2010 Holly O'BrienFeatured Review
