Gay man in Pink

Gay man in Pink

A Poem by Hercules94
"

A gay man will wear what he wants to wear, the world is free, yet we have no right for him

"
A man in pink, walks down the street,
Attracting all the passerby eyes to meet,
A Flowery shirt and knee length shorts,
A jolly pair of shoes around his feet;

Some teen kid, called on him,
"GAY!" he shouted, to the man in pink;
The man didn't flinch, the man didn't stop,
"GAY! GAY! GAY!" shouted again the teen Tim;

This time he stopped, looked at tim,
Removed his glasses, and held them at rim;
"I may be gay, I may wear Pink,
But how does it concern you, little Tim."

The man smiled, "tell me Tim,
How does it concern our little Tim,"
He looked at Tim, Tim looked at him,
"You still gay though," said and ran little Tim;

I saw a LGBTQ+ poem on reddit, I reviewed it and shared my views about LGBTQ community. That man was really happy to see the support from others and it hit me. So I wrote this. Thank you for reading.
