A simple decision to change your life forever

What is required is a simple lever
To change your world forever;
Just as it takes a bullet in chest to realise
The value of life;

When a moment arrives,
You have a bloody knife;
In your bloody red hand
And in front of a body you stand;

No one one cares,
No one asks,
Who drew the knife
From their pockets first;

Nothing else will matter,
Your life will shatter
Your brain freezes,
And your hand still itches

Your life will matter on
Either the stone,
Your bury the body under
Or if you surrender;

A simple decision, a simple lever
Will change your life forever;
Either in the way you simply regret it
Or in a way you are forced not to repeat it;

Enforced to regret
Or self-induced regret;
Both will change you
In either the way you want or they want you;
