'Love'

'Love'

A Poem by brian
"

We all long for the one who ignites and completes our soul.. They will come! Don't lose hope that they WILL come. I promise.

"
Wrapped in a box,
 Of candy and sweet memories
Today, tomorrow, it waits for me
Through the hallowed corridors
On her lonely, barren floor
Love cries: 'Hold me through this storm'!
'I will', my dear,
'Please, have no fear',
I am the one God's sent to you
To hold your soul, as you hold mine too.

Your description to this poem is so encouraging, Brian. It made me smile to see such hope. As for the piece itself, it is beautiful... Such few words, and yet, it strikes the heart with several emotions of both desperation and strength, both darkness and light. What I had seen, imagined when reading this was a seemingly lost lover fallen to her knees, then the extended fingertips of man who said, "I am here. Take my hand." This poem speaking of a journey... One brimming with loneliness and the ache for loving arms, then completion, the true beginnings of a seemingly other life when two souls should meet and become one. Oh! Marvelous destiny... Miraculous fate... I, too, so believe.:) A stunning little write, Brain. Never lose your wondrous faith.

Oh yes!!! it's so similar...
But the feelings that flow within a few words is great in this...
Last two lines are just so thoughtful and sweet....
I liked it so much...
