Night Rain

This one is about a girl who wants to be washed clean of everything by the rain. very symbolic as most of my poems are.

Let the rain fall,

Throughout the night.

Let it not stop,

Until morning comes.

I'll sit in the rain,

Holding my head up to it.

Let it rain,

And rain hard.

Let the rain,

Wash over me.

In a total calm,

The rain will rinse me,

Of my worries, pains, and fears.

Let the rain fall,

Throughout the night.
