That night

This is an incident i experienced and I wanted to use words to make it a memory..so I gave it a try.!

I was laying on the sofa that night..

When everywhere suddenly got dark..

It must be a blackout.. 

There was no single light..

Every where seemed so silent..

Even a small sound was heard so loudly.. 

Felt so haunted n scary..

Some ugly sounds were heard around..

I stayed on the sofa without moving

 paying full attention to  those goofy sounds..

Then i saw a moving light

Which comes slowly towards me… 

I couldn't see anybody holding that light.. 

It was just coming to me..

I screamed aloud as I felt so afraid what it might be..

But then I saw a shocked face behind that candle

It was my idiot sister who was trying to scare me..

But it seemed she got scared by my scream even than me.!!

Felt like a short story inside a poem. Ehat would have been great was to have built on the tension more. But nonetheless it didn't take away what was a good and enabled the reader to easily see that the scene that you painted.

This is a cool story! I see how you tried to make it a sort of prose-like format, but I personally think it would be really cool if you could make it like a book where there's suspense and deeper narration.
