Dear Gossipers

Dear Gossipers

A Poem by Hiroshi Masters

Dear Gossipers

You think you know me,
My life written on newspapers
Spread viral in all tabloids
All the dirty words they say.

People want to see the story,
Something they believed,
My mistakes their assuming
Curiousity and wondering.

Read all of my past mistakes,
Driving me crazy alright,
The words they always speak
Sorry, I can't let you know.

I'm under your spotlight
Slowly, ripped apart
Waiting to see new mistakes,
I'm about to break down,

I was scared of the limelight
All strangers want to know,
My faces on your magazine
I'm not your slave anymore,

I'm not perfect in every way,
My life won't entertain you
You want to see what's new
I can't seem to impress you.

Get away from me dude
One flashes in camera lens,
You only heard what I've done,
Story isn't true at all.

You're happy that I'll drown
I'm not your superstar
Because I'm not like you,
You're the only worst critic.

Oh so you know everything?
You don't know any better,
I'm a dreamer who make it
That's why I proved you wrong.

Clock goes.. Tick tock, tick tock
Your gossip won't wreck me
Reputation can't be ruined
I'm over you and see you later!

I'm famous in public eyes
You haven't seen the real me
Maybe you laugh about me
But I'm ignoring you right away.

I walked out of your way
You can write all you want
Nothing will stop deterred me
I'm not your puppet anymore.

Your creepy claws won't hold
I learn to stand against it all,
We are only human beings
I break down your nasty wall,

Once you held me captive
Lying beneath your darkness
You can't hold a grip on me
I will break from you.

Now I'm already flown away
You can't watch me fall down,
I'm renewed and superior
Bye bye Gossipers.

Peace !!!
